We're a home-based small business in Costa Mesa, CA (just about 30 minutes from Disneyland). Born and raised in the Philippines, I grew up using whitening soaps like kojic and glutathione soaps. That changed the day my daughter looked at me and said, "Mom, you have beautiful skin. Just embrace it." That one simple moment shifted everything. I stopped chasing whitening products and started paying attention to what our family actually needed.

And what we needed was gentle soap. My American husband has sensitive skin and had been using Dove Sensitive in plastic bottles for years. My son had very bad eczema growing up and in God's grace, it's been gone for a while, but he's still prone to flare-ups whenever he's exposed to harsh soaps. My daughter, who deals with keratosis pilaris (those little strawberry bumps on the arms), has been using Olay Ultra Moisture Shea Butter. And me? I was just using whatever was in the bathroom.
One day I looked around our bathroom and saw a collection of plastic bottles everywhere. Half-empty, cluttering the shelves, destined for a landfill. So much wasted space, so much wasted material, so much harm to the planet quietly piling up. We were a family with sensitive skin, using whatever was on the shelf until I decided to start exploring the idea of making a simple, gentle soap for all of us.
